Land Above Clouds

in case some of you didnt know, i went to Genting Highlands last week, Wednesday to Friday. i went with my folks. i guess in a way, im trying to be nice to my parents because age is catching up on the both of them, especially my dad. and of course to get away from the city (and not to mention the humidity and heat), the cool weather is really a great welcome.

although i got to be the lil girl for the 3 days, it tend to get a little boring because all you can do is to try sneak into the casino with them by pretending to look like youre above 21 and eat your ass off in restaurants. i was stopped a few times for ID check, which always result in me leaving the premise because ‘my passport is in the hotel room’. times which i didnt get check, i played the slot machine using my dad’s card and got bored. can you believe it? i got bored. partly because i was losing (my dad’s) money, but also because i know im never lucky when it comes to gambling.

not only you lose money (if youre not on a winning streak), you become a very heavy passive smoker. omg. probably 90% of the people in there were smoking. i wonder how my parents managed to breatheeee in there.

and guess where did my nights go? cooped up in the hotel room, watching teevee. hey, they got pretty awesome shows there. Vision Four is the channel. i watched Backwoods and Poseidon hahaha. Backwoods is one of those stupid thriller movies where they keep you so tensed during the movie and leave you disappointed when the show ends whereas Poseidon keeps you so tensed during the movie yet leave you well, relieved, though a tad sad because of those who didnt escape from the evil hands of fate.
